Bresser & Timmer / Vinee by BT sell a wine brand called Regulier Rosé . Named for the Regulierssdwarstraat in Amsterdam, this wine is our tribute to the Netherlands LGBTQ+ community. After seeing many brands capitalize on the struggles of the LGBTQ+ community, we grew tired of all the pink-washing and wanted to do things differently. We believe in supporting the community in a meaningful way year round, not just during pride.
We donate 50% of the profits to a local charity which helps find housing for homeless LGBTQ+ youth (25% of this comes directly from the sales of the wine, and then we [Bresser & Timmer] match this amount). The charity we work with searches for homes with extra space, screens the people offering housing, and places homeless LGBTQ+ youths in these houses. These children range in age from about 14-21, with many of these kids are fleeing abusive situations.
The wine is made from 100% Grenache from the Pays d’Oc region of France. It is a dry fruit forward rosé, with notes of strawberry, raspberry, red currant, white peach, slatey minerality, fresh lime juice, a slight honey note, and a persistent finish.
