SITTING VOLLEYBALL
We are proud to announce that sitting volleyball will be visible at the volleyball tournament. A healthy mindset is important for everyone! Come and watch the technical sport of sitting volleyball at the Radboud sports centre on Saturday 30 July – 12.00-12.45.
Spectators are welcome! In the Radboud sports centre are also the squash tournaments, and there is a nice view on the fields from the elevated corridor; all accessible by lift. In the stands and in the hall at the volleyball tournament there is room for (disabled, spectators) to watch the matches from the side and/or the surrounding field.
Sitting volleyball is the paralympic volleyball variant. At national level everyone can participate, with or without a disability. The competition is played with mixed teams: both men and women, but also players without and with disabilities in one team. Internationally, players are classified according to the nature of their disability.
