Believe it or not, it’s already the last day of the EuroGames 22. It’s also your last chance to participate in the Rainbow Picnic at 12:00 in Valkhof Park.
Once again, there’s plenty to do in the Sports Village. The various workshops such as Rowing Without Limits and Yoga are still going on.
The program of cultural activities around the village and in the library is still active. There’s an exhibition about Drag Queens from Pieter-Theo Zuurbier called “The Wonder Speaks”.
You can take part in the Rainbow Route this afternoon, a guided tour for everyone, residents and non-residents alike. This tour is a real eye-opener about the history of Nijmegen. There’s lots of information about freedom and our perception of it. Once you’re back in the village you can test your newly acquired knowledge in the Nyma Quiztour. There are museums (with free entrance for participants); look for this on your map.
If you want to get out of the city, it’s just a 20-minute walk from the train station to the Lentse Warande relax with a long cool drink and watch the rowing competition in the Spiegelwaal.

Women only
Women are welcome in the workshop house at 15:00 hrs to talk about and discuss connectedness in The POINK Living Room Cafe. The FEMtastic Meeting at 17:00 hrs on the Waalkade is a dinner date for women with interactive talks from Pink Activities by Lisa
Gay men can explore the Rijk van Nijmegen with a fascinating, long walking tour, between 14 and 20 kilometers, organized by Op Hoge Poten.
In the Sports Village, there’s live music in the afternoon until we all go together to the Waalkade for the spectacular closing ceremony from 19.00 – 24.00 hrs.
Don’t forget to support your fellow athletes, be a spectator! There are still lots of tournaments going on. Check which sports you can visit with the event planner.
All good things come to an end, but not before we close with an eruption of light and sound that’ll send the EuroGames to sleep before it reawakens next summer in Bern, Switzerland. Tonight is the big closing ceremony on the Waalkade. Check the program here.
