Wow, how time flies, we’re already on the third day of the EuroGames. There’s a ton of sports happening today if y’all still have some energy left…
In between the tournaments, there’re plenty of side events to keep everyone entertained, so try not to miss any of them.
Gay men can explore the Rijk van Nijmegen with a fascinating, long walking tour, between 14 and 20 kilometers, organized by Op Hoge Poten. Or maybe you’d prefer a guided walking tour that talks all about the history of Nijmegen. If that sounds good please sign up for the Rainbow walk, it starts at 2 pm and 9.30 pm.
Have you always wanted to find out if yoga was something for you, if so, you can take part in as many yoga classes as you like. Join the Yoga Workshop, starting at 6 pm.
There’s a seriously cool skateboarding workshop at 7 p.m. It’s being run by the Rolling Mina’s. For more information click here
Are you in love with rowing, of course, you are, so why not try the ‘Rowing Without Limits’ workshop, between 4 and 7 pm?
Or maybe you’d like something less hectic?
Visiting one of Nijmegen’s beautiful museums is a perfect way to spend an afternoon and find out about our city. Participants and volunteers can visit the museums at a discounted price ( The Bastei Museum) or even for free (Valkhof Museum and Information point World War II). You can also check out the exhibitions in and around The Sports Village!
If you haven’t been to our Rainbow Picnic in the park yet, then you’re missing something, it’s worth a visit. A great meet-up spot and lots of new people. Come to Valkhof Park between 12.00 and 14.00hrs
Finally, why not finish a day full of fun and cool sports activities with a real blast? There’s a great Pub Quiz happening in Waalhalla show us your smarts, and see if you can beat us at music, pop culture, and queer history.

Café de Plak is where the Plak Party starts at 10 p.m. seriously, you can dance the night away. Or maybe you want to glide and swirl around the dance floor, so join the Ballroom dance party that starts at 8 p.m. in De Vereeniging. You can never say we didn’t give you choices. So many cool parties to catch, go wild at the Iris LOVES Iris party, for all the women – without a ring on it -(trans and non-binary inclusive)!
