The programme is aimed at beginners (limited experience, one year of continuous practice) – intermediate – black belts. Participants self-categorize upon registration by indicating their level.
The workshops are offered to all participants, regardless of their level (with the exception of the workshop Arnis, stick fighting, which is not open for beginners); the instructors provide participants with assignments which are appropriate and challenging for each level.
During registration, participants should already indicate which workshop they would like to attend, so we can take the maximum number of participants into account (i.e. fencing). Multiple workshops can be selected, but note that some workshops take place simultaneously; participants choose one of them.
GOOD TO KNOW
Participants need to bring a judo or karate suit, as well as sticks, knee protection, boxing gear, depending on their choice of workshops; additional equipment will be provided by the organisers.
Note that lunch itself is not included in the registration fee.
Martial arts will take place at the Sportqube in Nijmegen. The workshops will take place in different halls. There are changing rooms available.
A unique martial arts event with the opportunity to meet new and old friends, get to know other styles and train together. There will be 2 days of workshops and training sessions in different styles. You can look forward to training together in workhops like tai chi, kickboxing, jiu jitsu, wrestling, judo, arnis, krav maga and fencing. Look on the site of IAGLMA for the different rules of the different activities/sessions.
