Volunteering at the EuroGames Nijmegen 2022

EuroGames Nijmegen 2022 is an organisation run entirely by volunteers. We would not be able to realise our plans without the help of all our volunteers. Together we will strive to make the EuroGames an amazing event.
With the aid of over 500 volunteers we will set up this significant LGBTIQ+ event that will host more than 1500 athletes in Nijmegen. If you are interested in helping to create a great event and a safe environment for the guests at Nijmegen 2022, you can sign up as a volunteer. In return, we promise an unique experience, co-creation, love and a whole lot of fun together! You will get the opportunity to experience the event yourself up close, without participating in the games yourself. It will be an experience you will never forget!
All volunteers receive:
– Complementary food and drinks
– Official EuroGames clothing
– Unique social and other activities before, during and after the event
Roles and opportunities
Throughout the event there will be a lot of work for volunteers. Tasks like welcoming people at the accreditation desk after their arrival, taking the scores along the sports field, making photos, strengthening our social media team, presenting medals, and so much more. Most of the shifts are during the event (27-30 July 2022) and will be located in Nijmegen, but there are also opportunities to engage as a long-term volunteer in the months leading up to the event.
When registering as a volunteer you can indicate your preference for a specific task, but we can’t guarantee that every volunteer will be given their preferred task. We can guarantee, however, that every volunteer will have a wonderful time at the EuroGames, together with other volunteers and athletes.
